BARBER INSTRUCTOR

The objective of the Barber Instructor Program is to train the barber in the skills necessary to effectively teach Barbering, as a profession. Emphasis is placed on aspects of theory and practice of barbering in the teaching of skills. Instructor trainees will be under the direct supervision of a licensed instructor at all times. Six months of day, or seven and one-half months of evening, attendance is required by the Georgia State Board. The Barber Instructor program requirements are as follows: * Teaching Techniques 250 * General Education 200 * Practice Teaching 300 TOTAL HOURS 750   Length of program: Evening 7 1/2 months
